She makes sure to visit India at least once every year performing the role of the Visiting Professor at Missing Hospital Emergency Medical Residency Program. This is in Durgapur. Fazila Lalani has significant experience and this has helped her to set up the ER Residency Program in the Mission Hospital of Durgapur. This hospital is known to be related to the mission of Mother Teresa.
Fazila Lalani has 11 years of experience and has also pointed out that since the introduction of the residency program, many other doctors of the Jewish Medical Center is known to have visited India in order to offer education to the nurses and the others regarding bedside treatment and teaching. However, the resident doctors have to offer a helping hand to the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital.
Whenever, Dr. Fazila Lalani visited India, she secured loads of loads so that she was able to donate it to the poor people of the America. Nonetheless, nobody showed interest in Indian clothes. Hence, she decided to distribute the clothes among the orphans. This is the reason she planned to visit and distribute the clothes in Mother Teresa Orphanage for TB and leprosy patients. This is adjacent to the TB hospital. She was accompanied by the Chief Resident for distributing the clothes.
